Izmir Demir Çelik Sanayi A.Ş. (İDÇ) was founded in 1975 in the Aliağa Heavy Industry Zone to produce construction iron, began operating its rolling facilities in 1983, its steel facility in 1987 and has been continuing to produce in the sector for 47 years.
Izmir Demir Çelik Sanayi A.Ş. continues its yearly production of 1,500,000 tons liquid steel and 1,000,000 tons rebar iron in its 500 thousand square meter space at the Izmir Aliağa Facilities.

The plant, which was built in accordance with technical and environmental standards valid in Turkey and in the international field, will supply its yearly 2,562,000,000 kWh electricity power to the national grid in an environmentally conscious, constant, reliable and high-quality form. This amount of production corresponds to 1% of our country’s yearly demand.

İDÇ Liman İşletmeleri A.Ş. has a pier that is 375m in length and 32m in width, a modern machine park, qualified staff and 7 million ton shipment dispatch capacity annually. İDÇ Liman İşletmeleri A.Ş., which was initially established to handle the loading and unloading processes of goods imported and exported by İzmir Demir Çelik A.Ş., also provides loading and unloading processes, transport and warehouse services for third party goods. İDÇ owns 99.81% of the 23,000,000 TL paid capital company outright and 99.98% indirectly.
